Excel Vending is delighted to be attending Procurex Scotland 2022, where we will be showcasing our Reverse Vending solutions.
Reverse Vending machines will play a pivotal role in implementing the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) when it goes live on the 16th of August, 2023. Moreover, Reverse Vending will play a significant part in recycling plastic bottles, cans and glass bottles, thus significantly reducing the amount that currently goes to landfill.
All organisations, whether in the public or private sectors, must prepare for the introduction of the Deposit Return Scheme. Excel Vending is delighted to offer various solutions enabling organisations to comply with the new legislation. We have championed Reverse Vending since 2017 and have done a great deal to educate companies about the benefits of providing a means of collecting plastic cans and bottles in a manner that is suitable for recycling. At Procurex Scotland, we will be delighted to explain the process and the options to public sector representatives who need to consider how they will manage their DRS compliance.
Procurex Scotland takes place at the SEC on the 27th of October, 2022. The event connects buyers and suppliers across Scotland’s evolving £13.3 billion public procurement marketplace, focused on boosting inclusive economic recovery, supporting longer-term economic well-being, and working towards a transition to net zero.
This one-day event will provide a wealth of public and private sector skills development, networking, and collaboration features, in addition to a range of product showcase opportunities for organisations actively working with the public sector or exploring ways to work across Scotland’s procurement marketplace and beyond.
If you are attending Procurex and would like to chat about Reverse Vending, please visit us at Stand No. 124; we will be delighted to meet you and show you how we can assist you in providing a critical part of the infrastructure required to comply with the new DRS legislation.
