We are delighted with last week’s announcement about the finalists in The Glasgow Business Awards 2018 because Excel Vending has been named in three categories; Sustainable Development Award (Sponsored by Scottish Water), Green Champion Award (Sponsored by Scottish Power) and Excellence in Communication (Sponsored by Connect).
Organised by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, The Glasgow Business Awards celebrates its 21st Anniversary this year. These long-established awards are a major fixture in the business calendar and can boast some of the most prestigious businesses in Scotland as winners over the last 21 years. We would have been happy to be nominated in one category of the awards, but to be named as finalist in three separate categories is truly amazing news.
Like The Glasgow Business Awards, Excel Vending is celebrating a milestone anniversary in 2018; its 25 years since we began trading, something we are also very proud to have achieved. Steady growth for so many years and recognition through award nominations don’t just happen, success is largely due to the quality and commitment of the whole team at Excel. We have always taken the view that our people are our biggest asset and that’s why we are so pleased with our triple nomination news, it’s recognition for the hard work put in by everyone at Excel.
We wish all the other finalists all the very best in The Glasgow Business Awards and we are already looking forward to the awards dinner on the 4th October.
