Today, we are delighted to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We started trading on the 23rd March 1993, so we have experienced 25 years of changes within our business and indeed within the vending industry. We have embraced, and often championed, these changes ensuring that we have grown steadily to become Scotland’s leading vending machine operator.
We are proud to reach this milestone anniversary and we appreciate that many people have made significant contributions to enable our success. Firstly, we thank our customers who trust us to provide their vending solutions year after year; their ongoing loyalty and support has been pivotal to the growth of our business. Likewise, our suppliers without whose support we would not be able operate at the level we have achieved today. Special thanks must also go to our people; the dedicated team at Excel are at the heart of our business and play a major part in allowing us to excel and to enjoy our reputation for excellence in customer service.
Finally, we thank our vending partners who recognise our honesty, integrity and transparency and allow us to cover their national business here in Scotland. We value these partnerships and look forward to working with them for many years to come.
We also believe that much of our success is due to our continuing approach to investing in the latest vending technology and consistently bringing our customers state-of the-art equipment. But this is only half the story; we regularly champion the things we are passionate about and that we believe will make a positive difference for everyone. As an example, we’ve been championing the use of Reverse Vending machines and we are proud to be amongst those leading the way against the growing problem of waste damaging our environment.
