We were delighted to be named as winners at The Vendies which took place on Wednesday 5th June at the Grand Connaught Rooms is London. Once again, it was a superbly organised event run by a tremendous team Vending International,  that do a great deal to raise the profile of the vending industry in the UK.

We were grateful to be named ‘ Best Overall Operator of the Year’ 2024.

The Best Overall Operator category is for vending operators of any size currently doing business in the UK. 

Judges considered the following:  

• New technologies an operator has introduced to the benefit of the customer and overall business
• The learning and development opportunities provided to staff
• Staff benefits and initiatives
• Evidence of great customer service
• Measures that have been put in place to deal with business and/or industry challenges
• With so many elements to consider and so many good companies operating, it was undoubtedly challenging for the judges to pick a winner. That’s why we are so excited and delighted to have won.

While winning awards is gratifying and rewarding for our team, the Vendies has a more important role in the industry; it promotes the professionalism and integrity of the many companies that take part. Once again, we were impressed with the passion and excellence shown across every category by all of the finalists. 

It was especially pleasing to see John Crichton, Chief Executive of Automatic Retailing (Northern Limited), recognised with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’; John has been a tireless and first-class ambassador for the vending industry and a most deserving recipient of this prestigious Award.
