Purpose of the job/key objective:

 

To replenish/stock, clean and cash Vending Machines as directed.

 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

 

To clean / stock and cash vending machines

To represent Excel Vending in a professional manner at all times.

To pro-actively inform Operations Dept of any customer dissatisfaction

To control stock levels in Vending Machines to ensure maximum customer usage

To control stock levels in your Company Vehicle.

To cash machines as directed and return the cash to the office as soon as possible

To keep vehicle in a safe parking place at all times to protect stock and cash

To adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times

To report any faults on machines in a timely manner

To ensure vehicle is roadworthy on a daily basis

To maintain Health and Safety and Hygiene standards at all times

Adhere to Health and Safety Policy as per Vending Operator Manual

Ensure Risk Assessment and Method Statement available for all Operated sites on your route

 

Scope and Dimensions:

 

To manage stock levels effectively by ensuring products are distributed amongst Customer base to reduce ‘out of date’ stock and to maximise the revenue from the individual machines.

To keep ‘stock’ in vans and in machines to a level which ensures effective usage.

Reporting to the Operations Management Team you may be involved in helping to plan your route to minimise cost of fuel and ensure timely completion of activities

 

Experience Required:

 

Prefer previous experience of Vending Industry or similar Industry

 

Education/Professional Qualifications/Certificates Required:

 

Degree Level Education

Driving License

Disclosure Scotland

 

Skills:

 

Strong communication skills

Numeracy

Clear Hand Writing

Customer-focused, action-orientated problem-solving skills.

Use initiative to help Operations Management improve route planning.
